For charters, a 50% deposit is required to hold the reservation. Check-in time is 4:30 to 6:30 am at the boat, depending on the trip (always verify your time).
Many dates are available even if you see other trips.

| Fishing licenses are not sold on the boat. Anglers 16 and older must buy one online from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife before the trip (2026 one-day license: $21.09): get your CA fishing license. |

Good to know before you book
SALMON DISCLAIMER: PLEASE READ BELOWThis year the state will be doing inseason management. This means action may be taken to close open days when total harvest is approaching a statewide harvest guideline of 7,000 fish in the months of June, July & August.
The quota will reset to 7,500 additional fish for September and October in the San Francisco area(Pt. Reyes to Pigeon Pt)
If you book a salmon date that ends up being impacted by the restrictions, we will switch the trip to rockfish/lingcod fishing. (*If we switch the trip, a Partial refund will be issued)
NO CANCELLATIONS FOR SALMON.

Riptide Charters reserves the right to cancel or change trips.
- Trips may be canceled due to insufficient sign ups.
- Deposit returns will be made by check and mailed.
- Cancellation of reservations requires 72 hours for groups of 4 or less. For groups of 5 or more 10 days.
- For groups of 5 or more a 50% deposit is required.
- Balance is due on date of trip.
- Charter cancellations require 10 days
- Cancellations require verbal confirmation and cancellation id#
- Cancellation due to weather is at the discretion of the Captain only
- Children must be at least 7 years of age and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- School groups/scout groups/private parties - children must have written permission from parent or legal guardian.
