Fish Report for 6-7-2025

What a SALMON OPENER!!

With flat calm weather and a boat load of very excited passengers we left the harbor to embark upon what would turn out to be an EPIC Day of fishing for salmon in a krill bite. Typical with krill we headed off  shore to an area where I had found some whales last week. 

There was scattered bird life and we stopped to put the gear in to give it a try. But after 25 minutes of nothing we picked up and started to run up the line of depth. 

When we got to another promising looking area we slowed down and began to put the gear in the water to troll. 

FISH ON!!! Was shouted before we even got all the lines in the water!!

Next, we hear “2 HANGING and then the crew yelled QUAD!!  

So, theres a total pandemonium in the back deck!! Lines going everywhere fish jumping dashing all over the place while we try to orchestrate them to keep from tangling!!

Got em!! Land that group snd try to get things organized. Not 5 minutes later we have fish hanging all over the boat!!!

We literally had 4 nets flying!!

That was 8 fish on at one time!!

We got all but 1 which was a small “shaker”

The action continues with some small breaks to let us get caught up. 

Then when were getting close to limits for everyone we counted them out and had to pull the lines as we had full boat limits for one and all!!

So YES, this was EPIC FISHING!!

One for the ages!!
